“They shall grow not old…” — a line that continues to define remembrance.

Issued for ANZAC Day, this commemorative coin honours those who served and sacrificed. The design features vivid red poppies set against barbed wire, alongside the inscription “They Shall Grow Not Old” and the date 25 April, marking the day of remembrance observed across Australia and New Zealand.

Finished in black nickel with colour print, the contrast of the dark finish and bright poppies creates a striking visual tribute. The obverse features the effigy of King Charles III, confirming its status as a Solomon Islands legal tender coin with a 50 cents denomination.
