2026 $1 Stranger Things Hawkins Gold Plated Collectors Coin Card

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things debuted in July 2016 and quickly became one of Netflix’s most popular television series ever. Rooted in 80's nostalgia, it has sparked a resurgence of pop culture items from the decade with every new season. The series has also garnered over 70 awards worldwide including Emmys and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and has been nominated for over 230 awards.

Hawkins may look like an ordinary small town, but Stranger Things quickly reveals the cracks beneath its quiet surface. Lurking in the Upside Down beneath Hawkins is the Mind Flayer, a towering hive-mind entity that aims to terrorize Hawkins.

The coin's coloured reverse depicts the town of Hawkins with the Mind Flayer in the background, the section in grayscale is to depict the Upside Down. Also included in the design is the “STRANGER THINGS" logo along with the inscription ‘HAWKINS’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. 

The coin’s obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the monetary denomination and 2026 year-date.
